The Easiest & Most Fun Way To Learn 3D Engineering Design
CAD Missions have a unique approach to teaching high-level skills:
- Gamified learning with small wins, badges, and awards, making learning fun and intrinsically motivating.
- Focused on finding the solution rather than giving instructions, helping build problem-solving and troubleshooting skills along the way.
- No long lectures, no arbitrary tests, no boredom or discouragement. Just self-paced, hands-on learning.
- Easy to 3D print & display, each mission fits in a 25 mm cube.

How It Works

STEP 1
Start With The Mission Brief
Each mission has a brief that includes a short description, a design schematic, and the tools used. Based on the schematic, try to solve the mission on your own!

STEP 2
If You Need Help, Look at The Hints
In the Brief Lesson, there are hints to help you solve the design. This includes images of each sketch and feature, but doesn't tell you exactly how to create them yet.

STEP 3
Still Stuck? Consult The Walkthrough
If you still need some help, now you can consult the walkthrough videos. This will take you step-by-step through the Mission.
We encourage you to only use the walkthrough as a last resort. Learning is better when you figure it out yourself!

BONUS
Participate in the Community!
Throughout your CAD Missions journey, the community is a place to get help, help others, show off projects, complete bonus challenges, and more!

CAD Missions Were Made For YOU
We set out to teach 3D CAD to learners aged 7 to 17, each with different backgrounds, interests, and experience levels. That challenge pushed us to design something incredibly adaptable, intuitive, and fun. The result? CAD Missions, a system built to meet every learner where they are.
What surprised us most was how well it worked not just for kids, but for adults too. Thanks to its self-paced structure and emphasis on creative problem-solving, CAD Missions fits any learning style and any age.
