Which one is right for us?
You're not sure your student will stick with it
Start with Level 1 for $29. Ten missions and the Phone Dock take a few hours. If they want more, the $29 comes off Starter or Complete.
You'd rather spread the cost
Monthly gives the whole curriculum for $49 a month and releases the advanced levels as your student gets there. If they'll take more than a year, Complete costs about the same and never expires.
Your student is in for the long haul

What your student actually builds
Missions teach one skill at a time. Levels 1 through 8 each end with a recap project that puts those skills into a finished design, exported and ready to print. These are the portfolio. Level 9 is integration: advanced missions that combine every tool learned so far.

Questions before you buy
What if we pick the wrong option?
You can't really. Level 1 credits $29 and the Starter Set credits $269 toward the Complete Curriculum, and everything has a 14-day full refund. Email [email protected] to upgrade or to ask for a refund.
How much time does it take?
Each mission takes 10-30 minutes. Recap projects take 30 minutes to a few hours depending on the level. Most students do a few missions a week, and the pace is yours.
What software do we need?
Just a web browser. Students design in Onshape, the professional cloud CAD platform, which is free for students and personal use. Nothing to install, works on Mac, Windows, and Chromebook.
Can we use Step Up For Students or other scholarship funds?
Florida families with a Step Up For Students scholarship can buy a one-time option (Level 1, Starter Set, or Complete Curriculum) and submit the receipt to Step Up for reimbursement. Check with Step Up first that your scholarship type covers curriculum. Monthly charges are harder to get reimbursed, so we recommend a one-time option for scholarship funds. Email [email protected] if you need an itemized invoice.
How does Monthly release the levels?
Levels 1-3 open the day you subscribe. Levels 4-6 open after your third paid month and Levels 7-9 after your sixth. Cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the month you've paid for. If you cancel and come back later, you start the release schedule again.
Does Complete prepare my student for the Onshape Associate certification?
It covers sketching and 3D modeling well beyond what the exam requires. A few additional hours of review on assemblies, file management, and mate connectors, topics the missions don't cover in depth, completes the preparation. Our founder took the exam after one afternoon of review on top of the curriculum.
